2006: Brasero-0.4.4
This release fixes one annoying bug that prevents the building against nautilus-cd-burner 2.15 (thanks metalgod).
It also fixes two small bugs:
- open images/projects from nautilus failed if there were spaces in path
- the display menu was broken when starting brasero for the first time

2006: Brasero-0.4.3
Brasero can now build against nautilus-cd-burner-2.15/6 and 2.14.
It fixes a bug with on the fly audio burning.

2006: Brasero-0.4.2:
Bonfire has a new name due to trademark concerns. It's now called brasero. Apart from that name change:
- a couple of crashers fixed
- speed up the mp3 metadata fetching for audio discs
- fix a bug in on the fly data disc burning
- Italian translation updated.

Thanks to all the people who contributed to this release by their suggestions, translations, bug reporting and their logs.

2006: Brasero-0.3.91:
This is the final one (I swear) before 0.4.0, that should come out next week if no major bug is noticed.
Lots of big fixes/changes. Most if not all bug reported were fixed.
The major change concerns project size widget which was improved, audio disc now support drag'n'drop of playlists from nautilus and others.
New translations: German (Georg Funke), Catalan (Carles Escrig)
Updated translation: Italian (Milo Casagrande)

Thanks to all the people who contributed to this release by their suggestions, translations, bug reporting.

2006: Brasero-0.3.90
Lots of small and big fixes/changes to improve the overall UI and usability of Brasero (See Changelog).
Three deps were removed (HAL, DBus, GDL). I know many of you (including me) liked GDL but it is not enough maintained to be fully usable.
User can now choose image type when copying a disc to hard drive.
Three new translations: Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese

Thanks to all people who contributed to this release ( suggestions, patches, translations, reporting bugs, ...)

2006 : Brasero-0.3.0
The main focuses of this release were :
- update for gnome 2.14 / gstreamer 0.10
- a better integration of DVD burning which should now work nicely
- change the backend. Brasero doesn't use nautilus-cd-burner as a backend any more - though it still depends on it for nautilus-drive. It has its own backend which will hopefully become a library in a future release when it's fully ready.

The headlines:
- on the fly burning for Data CD and DVD / CD copy / Audio CD
- data or disc images can now be created on a hard drive instead of being burnt
- you can append data to a multisession CD and DVD
- CD-text written to disc for Audio CD (note: you can edit the entries in audio disc selection)
- The UI was rethought and improved in many places (project-chooser, burn-dialogs)
- In search pane you can search files by categories now (music, video, document, image)
- during the burning process (only) brasero displays an icon in the tray that displays the advance of the burning operation
- it now uses (a little and that remains optional) the notification daemon.
- the preview pane has been improved (no more floating window when listening to music) and it can also preview images (the types supported by gdk)

+ many bug fixes and small (UI) enhancements.

NOTES:
- your previous saved projects are no longer compatible with the new ones, sorry. If you want to use them, edit them and remove the <label> and <unreadable> tags and change version from 0.1 to 0.2.

19/12/2005 : Brasero-0.2
The focus of this release was stability and therefore a lot of bugs, memleaks and crashers were fixed. See the complete list in the changelog. If you happen to run into a bug please, notify me so I can fix it and make a new release for 0.2.x.
The build process was also improved: gcc4 build problems should be fixed and the dependency on beagle and totem is now optional. There is a new dependency : libxml2.

The new features:
- The search pane, the playlist pane, the preview pane and inotify are now optional.
- You can now create and load projects for audio/data
- New command line options (more to come): --data --audio --project
- A filter was added for files not conforming to joliet standard
- All disc IO is now done asynchronously
- Some work has been done so the tree for data disc mimicks nautilus (some more will be done during the next release cycle)
- Some minor UI improvements

A lot of work has been done under the hood, cleaning up and restructuring the code to ease the introduction of the next set of features (in particular on the fly burning).
