Description to copy-paste to sf or fm news

In this game, you ride a lightcycle around the game grid. You can only make sharp turns
of 90 degrees and a wall constantly builds up after you. Make your
enemies crash into your wall, but be aware that they are trying to do
the same to you. Only if you are fast enough, you may
be able to trap them; but the only way to speed up your lightcycle is to drive close to the
dangerous walls. Prepare for exciting strategic preparations followed by action-packed
close combat!

Armagetron is a simple action game modelled after the lightcycle sequence of the movie Tron.
The main focus lies on the multiplayer mode, which has already made Armagetron a popular
warmup game on LAN parties.

----------------------------------

0.2.5.2:
This release disables the fullscreen toggle ( and other ) key bindings
while in chat mode and fixes a crash when entering the team menu while
in observer mode.

0.2.5.1:
This release fixes some minor problems ( and a crash some people
compiling Armagetron from source may have gotten ). It unifies
the basic network for Unix and Windows getting rid of connection
losses sometimes reported. Smaller new features: a windowed/fullscreen
toggle key has been added and the server browser now displays a list
of active human players for compatible servers.

This release introduces two new features: an instant win zone is
activated when nothing happens for a while ( usually because all
remaining players are trapped in large areas ); the first to reach the
zone wins. And: Brakes are now wear off and cannot be used to delay
death when you are trapped. Some minor bugs were fixed on the way, too.

This release fixes some critical issues: A server freezer occurring
when to many people played too long was fixed and explosions now have
exactly the same effect on the clients as on the server.

This release fixes may smaller nuisances: Instant chat was repaired,
the scoring tables now work properly in the presence of team play and
the smart camera now handles it better when you are constantly
braking. Additionally, two reasons for crashes have been eliminated.

This release is a quick fix for the shortlived version 0.2.0; A single, rare crash was fixed.
Just in case you missed all the 0.2.pre-versions: the 0.2 branch introduces many highly anticipated
features such as team play, better AI opponents and destructive explosions.

The new release is a bugfixing release for the last prerelease versions, fixing all known bugs. Relative to 1.4.9, a ton of long-awaited features has been added and is now working properly.

This release introduces a whole bag of new features relative to the 0.1.4 branch: Team play, finite wall length, destructive explosions, configurable arena size, better AI opponents and an internet and LAN server browser.

This is a bugfixing release only.
